Environments — Orchid International

When Advent ini­tially met with Orchid Inter­na­tional, they iden­ti­fied sev­eral goals for their facil­i­ties.  First, improve the image pre­sented to prospec­tive clients.  Sec­ond, develop a “style guide” as a tem­plate for brand­ing each facil­ity.  Next, con­vey the qual­ity and detail of their prod­ucts.  And finally, show the scale and com­pe­ten­cies of the over­all com­pany. 

The Advent team brain­stormed for ideas on how to meet these objec­tives in a cost-effective and user-friendly way.  Ulti­mately, Orchid chose to repaint their lobby and office space, install acrylic stand­offs hold­ing artis­tic pho­tos of their prod­ucts, dis­play prod­ucts in museum-style cases, install new floor­ing and fix­tures, install a brushed alu­minum logo, and cre­ate cus­tom wall­cov­er­ing to show their facil­ity loca­tions. 

One of the main com­po­nents of any lobby makeover is incor­po­rat­ing the brand, prod­uct or ser­vice in the space to engage and fos­ter a con­nec­tion with the audi­ence.  Advent worked with Orchid’s own­ers and exec­u­tive team as well as facil­ity man­age­ment through the whole process to meet this impor­tant goal.
