Seminoles' state-of-the-art players’ lounge
As part of a program-wide upgrade of facilities that began in 2013, Florida State added a state-of-the-art players’ lounge, the forerunner in an emerging trend in college athletics. Florida State not only upgraded key functional spaces such as locker room and meeting rooms but also provided a stylish place for players to relax, study and play.
The Florida State players’ lounge creates a refuge that is warm and inviting for student-athletes to enjoy quiet time. Modern amenities like video games, televisions and a theater also create a space where student-athletes will socialize and build team camaraderie.
The focal point is the distinctive lighting, designed to mirror the yard lines and hash marks at Doak Campbell Stadium. From oversized wall graphics to logos on arcade consoles and pool cues, players in the lounge are immersed in Florida State team colors and branding.
