The new John McKay Center in all its glory
How would you communicate a story like the one the University of Southern California has to tell?
USC has an incredibly strong history of success in college athletics, including more than 115 National Championships and literally hundreds of Olympic medals for USC athletes competing for their home countries. Whether it’s more traditionally popular sports like football, basketball, and baseball, or sports like water polo, track and field, or volleyball, USC has produced some of the finest athletic talent ever seen in competition.
The John McKay Center is a 110,00 square foot facility that will nurture, train, and educate USC Trojans from all 21 sports for years to come. So, how do we tell their stories? How do we build a story for the 21 sports teams, all unbelievably competitive, and hit the mark with each one? How do we choose which stories, of the potential thousands that exist, to highlight over others? How do we communicate to a family, a teenager, a grandparent or a student-athlete what the University of Southern California is all about?
It’s easy to tell a good story if you listen. It’s very easy to tell the right story when you listen. The story of USC is incredible. We just had to listen and execute the result. See for yourself with the photos (and video coming soon!) in this case study.
