Reflecting a history of excellence
The University of Southern California recently finished an $8 million renovation of their aquatics facility. This historic pool, built for the 1984 Olympic games, was not consistent with the excellence that has become synonymous with the USC Aquatics programs.
With the recruit walk-path and fan experience in mind, the pool deck, coaches’ offices, locker rooms, and players’ lounge were given a much-needed update. The exterior displays honoring individual records, national champions, and Olympians reflect the accomplishments and commitment of the swimming, diving, and water polo teams that call the Uytengsu Aquatics Center home.
