Senior Strategic Advisor
Adam Burke first set his mind to working in the sport industry after seeing Jerry Maguire. At first he wanted to be a sports agent, but he soon found other callings in sports. At Advent, Adam helps us help you. As a strategic advisor, Adam Burke is a dedicated resource for clients, interfacing with them on needs and resources and ensuring that Advent executes their vision.
Before joining Advent in Sept. 2016, Adam was the vice president of marketing & development for the Nashville Sports Council and the Music City Bowl where he has overseen marketing and fundraising for events such as the Music City Bowl, the 2016 NHL All-Star Game and the 2014 NCAA women’s Final Four. He was also instrumental in negotiating the agreement that brought the SEC men’s basketball tournament to Nashville for a 12-year term.
A born and raised Nashvillian, Adam has been dedicated to the economic development of his community. He is a board member of the Greater Nashville Hospitality Association and The District, a nonprofit dedicated to the economic development and preservation of Nashville’s Lower Broadway, Second Avenue and Printers Alley. A graduate from Liberty University with a bachelor’s degree in sport management, Adam has been decorated with the 2013 Nashville Emerging Leaders award and the Nashville Top 30 under 30 award that same year.
Away from Advent, Adam enjoys working on his golf game and spending time with his wife and identical twin daughters, “which means I no longer golf,” he says.
