Hadley Kelsey is the office Santa. When talking about his jolly and merry role, Hadley says “Everyone seems to like me and be extra nice when I’m handing out money.” Needless to say, he brings happiness to the office as the staff accountant. His job is helping control the cash flow of every project Advent works on. This includes invoicing clients, paying all bills and working with different vendors.
Another one of our Nashville natives, he holds an accounting degree from Lipscomb University and works with Small World Yoga, teaching and assisting classes at local schools, prisons and community centers in his spare time. Before Hadley started at Advent in December 2016, he worked as Lipscomb University’s men’s basketball Student Assistant Coach for three years. His father played for the 1986 National Championship basketball team at Lipscomb and went on to coach at Alabama and LSU. Hadley also has previous experience working with non-profit accounting for Prevent Child Abuse Tennessee, public accounting and investment management. He is also a certified notary in Davidson County.
When Hadley isn’t crunching numbers at the office, he can usually be found somewhere on a yoga mat. As a 200-hour Baptiste yoga instructor, he helps other yogis find their inner peace while sweating it out at Nashville’s Shakti Power Yoga. Since his mother was a Vanderbilt cheerleader, he is a huge Commodore fan and also supports other Nashville teams like the Predators and the Titans. Hadley also enjoys trap music, attending comedy shows and spending time with his four younger sisters.
