Sam joined the Advent team in the Fall of 2010. He serves as the Ware­house Com­man­der and makes sure the ware­house runs smoothly. Before Advent, Sam was quite the fix-it guy. He held a vari­ety of jobs rang­ing from floor­ing, plumb­ing, roof­ing and farm work. He was also a life­guard at a 4-H camp where he man­aged 150–300 kids a week. He has been known to yell “stop run­ning” in his sleep because of this.
